Reverse Crow quill

A different wood this time, I've managed to get hold of some nice pieces of Yew, its possibly my favourite wood, many different colours and great fine detail which shows up well when you get it right. The varnish has darkened the wood as the lightest part was nearly white before I varnished it.

This is 18cm long, the Crow quill tapering to just over 1mm at the red painted tip

This base differs slightly as there is part of a small branch growing out of it other than that its the same as I normaly make.
